The Sigma Technology Summit in Greece is approaching, and we would like to open the nomination process for the Sigma Technology Awards 2025! Let’s celebrate together and put the spotlight on Sigmanians who make our organization an amazing place. Nominations are open until September 12.
Sigma Technology Awards aims to recognize exceptional colleagues who have gone the extra mile, come up with an extraordinary initiative, or made a lasting impact. The nominations are not just about significant achievements but also about small acts of kindness, team spirit, and dedication to creating a better workplace.We are introducing several categories for the Sigma Technology Awards, where we will have people nominations. This means that you can nominate colleagues or teams for specific categories through a dedicated Microsoft Form until September 12.
After that, the jury will go through the nominations and may contact you for more details regarding your nomination. The nominees will, however, not receive information about who has nominated them.
The categories are:
Brand Ambassador of the Year
Dream Team of the Year
Team player of the Year
Leader of the Year
– Brand Ambassador of the Year –
This category celebrates colleagues who truly live up to Sigma’s spirit by contributing to team spirit, supporting other colleagues, making new colleagues feel included, and advocating for our organization. Brand Ambassador of the Year reflects the Sigma Technology brand, sharing the company’s vision through personal communications and connections on social media, at different events, and on professional platforms.
– Dream Team of the Year –
Here we highlight teams, your Sigma family, that reflect different sides of Sigma Technology’s organizational philosophy, “Local drive – Global strength,” that combines a strong local presence with a global reach and capacity. Our local presence at the clients' main development centers, combined with global capacity and operations, makes us a unique supplier within our business compared to many of our competitors locally and globally. A flat organization model that is inclusive, supportive, and entrepreneurial, with the individual at the center, with an aim to be a TOP3 provider in our markets.
We are looking forward to your nomination of a great team that represents the whole company or site where Technology shows a great sign of being or aiming to be a local drive described above.
We are eager to hear from you and see your reasoning for the nomination. Through this recognition, we highlight teams that have great engagement in the market, driven by determination, motivation, and team spirit.
– Team Player of the Year –
This award honors colleagues who truly embody the Sigma spirit and generously share it with those around them. They are the mentors who welcome new colleagues with open arms, the teammates who freely share their knowledge, and the culture-builders who make our workplace thrive. Whether it’s during fika, a quick Teams chat, or a team activity, their positivity and commitment make working together not only productive but truly inspiring. This category is broad and can include consultants, team managers, team leaders, project leaders, coordinators, and other relevant roles.
– Leader of the Year –
One of the cornerstones of our top priorities, “Superior Employer Value,” and “Superior Supplier Value,” is that you, as an employee, have a leader who sees you, supports and encourages you, but also a leader who creates a commitment and makes your unit or company a close-knit team. Help us celebrate Sigma Technology leaders. In this category, you can nominate unit managers who show their extra support and care. This nomination reflects your perception of a great leader based on your unit or team.
