Opening hours

23/10 Breakfast is open between 06.00 -10.30 - restaurant Cosmos (Cosmos)

23/10 Breakfast is open between 07.00 - 10.30 - restaurant Estia (Terra)

Lunch buffé is open between 12.30 - 14.30.

Dinner buffé is open between 18.30 - 21.30.

Main pool snack bar is open between 12.00 - 17.00.

Regarding the storm that hit Crete on Saturday Oktober 15

The weather affected mostly Agia Pelagia (25km west from Heraklion) and Agios Nikolaos – Siteia (45km & 130km east of Hersonissos). Hersonissos and the hotel is fine and was not affected by the storm. Heraklion airport is operating normally and all flights are arriving on schedule.

If you are accommodated at Maris you will in general eat at restaurant ''Maris''.

Summit 2022 wristband and all inclusive

Wear your wristband at all times. You need this on you to get access to the all inclusive bars and restaurants.

Regarding special diet for the Saturday evening dinner

When you arrive to Zeus hall:

Look for the table in the entrance with a sign that says "Special diet".
Look for the card on the table with you name on it.
Bring this card to your table and put it on your plate.

Welcome card and vouchers

Please note that the Welcome card you receive upon check includes three vouchers. A slight update regarding the value of the vouchers:

Thursday 20/10. One (1) voucher valid for entrance to night club at Cochlias Restaurant.
Friday 21/10. Two (2) vouchers. Valid as stated on the voucher.

Do we have a travel insurance during the trip?

Special diet

COVID-19

As of 01.06.2022 face mask requirement in indoor areas is lifted and our guidelines is updated accordingly. Travellers visiting Greece are also no longer required to fill out the Passenger Locator Form (PLF).

Additionally, as of Sunday 01.05.2022 and for as long as the epidemiological data allow so, all travellers arriving in Greece, regardless of their country of origin, are no longer required to display a valid certificate of vaccination or recovery from COVID-19, or evidence of a negative test result from SARS-CoV-2 infection (PCR or Rapid Antigen test).

However, the corona pandemic is still ongoing. Rules and restrictions may be changed at a short notice. Greek authorities may conduct random PCR or Antigen tests at arrival. Passengers that refuse to comply may risk not being allowed entrance to Greece. A positive test will result in a five (5) day quarantine.

We advise you to comply with the terms of the EU Digital COVID Certificate (i.e. EU Green Pass). The certificate is valid for 270 days following the administration of the last dose of the primary vaccination or indefinite after a third dose. In other words: make sure you get three doses of vaccine well ahead of time before Summit 2022. If you are not vaccinated you will cover any costs for PCR or Antigen tests by yourself.

Covid-19

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Sigma Technology pays for flight travel, accommodation and dinner for three nights. Your contribution is the time required. With a bit of planning we hope it will be possible for all employees to put in the hours needed prior to the trip, in order to use them during the seminar.

You will have access to a guide/coordinator/contact person from Engdahl&Berg Event Agency who is able to answer any questions during your stay.

The seminar is open to all employees at Sigma Technology companies in Sweden. The number of reserved flight seats are 635, which means prioritization and a reserve list will be necessary should the number of participants exceed this. First come, first serve!

Passport

Make sure that your passport is valid during the whole stay in order to avoid to get denied entry to Greece. In general it is good to ensure that your passport is valid 3 months after your trip ends. If you need to apply for a new passport we kindly ask you to do so as soon as possible.

If you are not a Swedish citizen please contact your embassy and investigate if there is anything you must do in advance to visiting Greece.

CANCELLATION POLICY

This registration is binding and cancellation will incur a cancellation fee according to the table below. Cancellation due to illness, accident or similar is free of charge, providing a medical statement can be shown.

As the focus of the seminar is long term development for personnel and organization alike, employees who have signed up for the seminar but decide to end their employment shortly before or after the seminar will be cancelled from the seminar and also be requested to cover the cost of the seminar according to following. More than 45 days: 1 000 SEK, 45-30 days: 5 500 SEK, 30-15 days: 8 000 SEK, 15-0 days: 13 000 SEK (days before departure).
